FAQ

  • Do you take custom orders?

    • Yes, I take a LIMITED amount of custom orders. Head on over to my contact page if you want to discuss an idea.

  • How to I hang my stained glass piece?

    • Nails and hooks are strongly preferred, or even the latch of a window. Suction cups are not advised, even for the smallest/lightest pieces.

  • How do I care for my stained glass piece?

    • Stained glass items are fragile and not meant to be handled often. Gently dust with a microfiber cloth and distilled water as needed. Do not use any harsh chemicals or chlorine based cleaners as they may react with the metals and cause discoloration. Stained glass items are polished before purchase - you may polish again to revive the shine later on using carnauba wax polish or non-ammonia glass cleaner.

  • What are the materials that are used in making stained glass art?

    • Stained glass, copper foil, leaded solder wire and framing. Sometimes I use zinc or brass in addition to these.

  • Should I be worried about lead?

    • Simply wash your hands after handling. For safety, keep stained glass items out of reach of pets and children. Any item I make to be handled often or worn is specifically made lead-free.

  • Who do you donate to?

    • You can see my donating page for a list of where I have and will donate to. I will share how much good was done for each at the end of each year.
